The Premier Academy for Baseball Training in Westfield, IN

RoundTripper Sports Academy opened its doors in the fall of 1993. Our vision was to become the premier facility for baseball training in Central Indiana. Thirty years and tens of thousands of student-athletes later, we have become a mainstay for elite athletes throughout the Midwest and Central Indiana. Our mission has been to help every athlete reach his or her fullest potential.

Kevin Christman, a veteran MLB scout for 3x World Series Champions, the San Francisco Giants, proudly says:

“As a professional scout RoundTripper has given me the opportunity to engage with players at all levels of the game. RoundTripper, Chris Estep, and his staff have also made a profound impact on myself and my family, as a supporting parent of two Division 1 baseball players. Their attentiveness and care for the well-being of each athlete in the game of baseball has been extremely beneficial to the game. RoundTripper has prepared many young people not only with lessons in baseball, but lessons in life.”

A Tradition of Athletic Excellence

We continue to work hard every day to meet these same goals for each generation that comes through our facility for baseball, softball, and sports instruction. As with many things in life, evolution plays a role in what we do. We have grown with the ever-changing landscape of Hamilton County through the years to include:

  • Baseball
  • Softball
  • Soccer
  • Lacrosse
  • Football
  • Performance Training

We have a long-standing partnership with an Indiana staple, Community Health Network. This partnership aids in the overall development and medical care of each athlete in our sports training programs.

“Community Health Network has really enjoyed the ongoing relationship with RoundTripper Sports Academy and looks forward to future growth opportunities. We appreciate RoundTripper's commitment to the development of athletes and feel Community Health Network can play an important role in their health and medical recovery.”

Elite Sports Training

Over the past 30 years, our students have been awarded millions of dollars in college scholarships. Our current alumni include over 500 college softball and baseball players, at least 15 MLB players, and more than 50 players in Minor League organizations.  We have been fielding players for all 30 years of this illustrious history. All of these are great accomplishments, but none are as rewarding as seeing the player who hits his first homerun or makes the game-winning play for the first time. The confidence, determination, self-discipline, and commitment to others that each student learns in our programs are priceless.

“I have had the opportunity to watch RoundTripper develop into one of the top organizations in the country. They have done a tremendous job of developing players and preparing them to play at the highest level. They are first-class in everything they do.”

Helping Young Athletes Excel

“RoundTripper was always a special place for my family and I. RoundTripper watched us grow up as athletes and young men and helped play a significant role in each. It has been fun to look back on the memories from our 10 plus years at RT.”

Blake Hibler
Director of Bullpen Tournaments and PBR Scouting Director

We are currently seeing a wave of second-generation students. Owners Chris and Sue Estep are humbled to know that their former students wish to bring their children into the amazing baseball family that they have been nurturing for the last 30 years.

We have become a stop each summer for many of the Midwestern elite baseball teams. We cater to teams ranging from 8 years old to 18 years old, and we expect more than 500 teams to visit during our spring, summer, and fall seasons.

With the addition of Grand Park, less than two miles from our location, we expect to have over 20,000 visitors to the facility for pregame workouts and to use our interactive technology, including HitTrax and Rapsodo.  HitTrax and Rapsodo systems help interpret and break down the mechanics of an individual swings and provide state of the art data analytics to players.
